Francia Raisa
Raisa started to pursue acting jobs in her final year of high school. She started doing print advertisements as well as acting in commercials. The sitcoms she appeared in included her as a guest star. American Family: Journey of Dreams as well as Over There. Raisa appeared in Lil' Romeo's music clip "My Girlfriend" as Tamy in 2004 and in the music video of Iyaz "So Big". In the middle of her sophomore year, she was booked one of her first leading roles with Hayden Pnettiere in Bring It On: All or Nothing. Alexandra Delgado co-starred with Isabel in the Nickelodeon film Shredderman Rules. She also played in The Cutting Edge: Chasing the Dream as well as The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice. From July 2008 through the final episode of the ABC Family series, The Secret Life of the American Teenager which ended in June of 2013, she played the character of Adrian Lee. As of 2009, Raisa played a cameo on show on the USA Network called In Plain Sight and co-starred in a short movie directed by David Henrie titled Boo, which aired on YouTube. The year 2013 saw Raisa starred in the Christmas-themed flick Christmas Bounty alongside Mike "The Miz" Mizanin. Raisa was in the movie on August 12, 2012. From 2018-2022, Raisa starred on the Freeform series Grown-ish. The show was executive produced by the Blackish's creator Kenya Barris. It was her first appearance in four seasons and then left following the departure of her character after the conclusion of the fourth season. She also appeared in the Freeform's Life-Size 2 television movie, with Tyra banks. Her role on the spin-off How I Met Your Mother series How I Met Your Father was made public by Hulu on the 18th of January 2022. The show was renewed for a 20-episode series in February 2022.
